We are a modern GP Super Clinics

About Us

The Pilbara Health Network has been delivering health cared to the Pilbara communities since 1998.

Funding was obtained under the Federal Government’s GP Super Clinics Programme in 2011 for a new purpose built one stop health facility which now stands on the corner of Sharpe Ave and Welcome Road. GP Super Clinics are a key element of the Australian Government’s strategy to build a stronger primary health care system. The building of the GP Super Clinic was also supported by Woodside (on behalf of the North West Shelf Project, and Pluto LNG) and the University of WA (WA Centre of Rural Health)

We constantly invest in high-end equipment

Now we are moving into a new phase of service through the Karratha Central Healthcare (GP Super Clinic) based in Karratha but we will still maintain our service across the Pilbara region. Karratha Central Healthcare was officially opened on 28 April 2016.

Our expanded service includes GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Allied and Mental Health Clinicians, Care Co-ordinators, Aboriginal Health Workers and Health Administration.

The Karratha Central Healthcare provides multidisciplinary, patient centred care and services, while at the same time supporting and training the healthcare professionals of the future.

Our clients can access a wide range of services at one convenient location. This Health Care Home approach means better communications between your doctor and other health providers involved in your care.

We are committed to providing care to

all members of the community.
